Kirsten graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with First Class Honours in 2008. She initially moved to central Queensland to begin her career as a GP in mixed animal practice before locating to Maleny in 2012, where she has continued her love of caring for pets and livestock. She is excited about being able to provide a house call veterinary service to the local community and being able to see pets in their home environment.

    • Ear examinations
    • Skin and itchy pet consultations
    • Lump examinations including fine needle aspirates and microscopy

    • Ability to perform diagnostics if indicated including urine and blood testing

  • Arthritis and Pain Management

    • Full Physical Exam
    • Assessment of dog or cats current mobilty and pain
    • Advice on how to improve the environment within the home to improve quality of life

  • End of Life and Palliative Care

    • Full clinical exam and review of your pets current clinical history
    • Open, caring and honest communication with expectations and projected outcomes discussed kindly and professionally
    • Comprehensive treatment plan
    • Follow up communication monitoring your pets progress

  • Euthanasia

    • Kind and considered at home end of life services
    • Sedation may be given prior, depending on your wishes, to ensure that your pet is calm and peaceful
    • Arrangements for collection can be organised with your chosen pet cremation service if desired
